EDEKA Bergmann is expanding its partnership with ReAct Now: The ReAct Now Call-to-Action Communication Solution has been installed at the Lüneburg Saline and Barendorf stores – including radios, tablets, Service Bell, and Instore Radio. The rollouts took place in April 2025 in Lüneburg and October 2025 in Barendorf, noticeably improving efficiency and responsiveness at both locations.
The family business EDEKA Bergmann has stood for freshness, regionality, and personal service since 1951 – with four stores in and around Lüneburg and more than 200 employees. Working this closely with customers requires short internal communication paths and reliable tools. This is exactly where the ReAct Now expansion comes in: the ReAct Now Call-to-Action Communication Solution has been fully deployed at two more stores – the Lüneburg Saline location and the Barendorf store.
The Call-to-Action Communication Solution connects employees role-based and in real time – via radio and tablets. Whether it's a spontaneous need for information on the floor, a short-notice staff deployment at the fresh food counter, or quick coordination between the warehouse and checkout zone: communication flows directly and without detours. The use of radios and tablets provides flexibility across different work areas and employee roles – from store manager to specialist at the service counter.
The solution is complemented by the ReAct Now Service Bell, which allows customers in consultation areas to quickly and easily request assistance. The responsible staff is notified directly – no queuing, no unnecessary detours. In stores with a strong fresh food profile and service counters, this is a genuine added value for the shopping experience.
The ReAct Now Instore Radio also provides the right acoustic atmosphere in both stores – tailored to the time of day and the customers on-site. Sound as a deliberate design element: welcoming, pleasant, and perfectly suited to the character of EDEKA Bergmann stores.
With the rollout at Lüneburg Saline in April 2025 and the completion in Barendorf in October 2025, EDEKA Bergmann has now laid the foundation for faster responses, better accessibility, and a noticeably more efficient daily workflow at two more locations – to the benefit of both the team and customers.
