With the opening on February 19, 2026, first-time retailer Christian Trede launched his first independent EDEKA store at Sülldorfer Landstraße 3 in Hamburg-Iserbrook. Across approximately 980 square meters of retail floor space, the new store relies on efficient team communication and a pleasant shopping atmosphere – implemented with the ReAct Now Call-to-Action Communication Solution and Instore Radio.

Christian Trede knows food retail from the ground up. After completing his retail management apprenticeship, the EDEKA junior management program, and stints as store manager at various stores in and around Hamburg, he is now realizing his dream of running his own store with EDEKA Trede.
