Smart service & organization: ReAct Now at Edeka Höfling Ahrensburg

At the beginning of June 2025, Christian Höfling opened his new Edeka supermarket on Bahnhofstraße in Ahrensburg. ReAct Now ensures efficient processes with its call-to-action communication platform, a checkout guidance system, customer service bells, and empty bottle return integration – a multi-zone in-store radio system takes care of the acoustics.

Christian Höfling opened his new Top-Edeka store on Bahnhofstraße in Ahrensburg at the beginning of June 2025. At the heart of the store is the ReAct Now call-to-action communication solution: radios, tablets, and smartphones are networked on a role-based basis so that announcements, orders, and team coordination are automatically sent to the right employees.

The integrated checkout management system optimizes processes in the checkout area and reduces waiting times. Customer service bells and the connection to the bottle return machines ensure that service requests and fault reports reach the team in real time – for even faster support.

The overall package is complemented by a multi-zone in-store radio system. In sensitive areas of the store, subtle background music creates a feel-good atmosphere, while sound-optimized zones in promotional areas provide acoustic support for shopping. Everything can be controlled centrally via the intuitive ReAct Now platform and adapted to promotions.

With this combination of smart communication and targeted sound management, Edeka Höfling is redefining the standards for modern store and service design.
