EDEKA Lüning Burg Nordpassage: Efficiency through ReAct Now and TOMRA integration

The ReAct Now communication solution was introduced at the EDEKA Lüning supermarket in Burg Nordpassage at the end of November 2024. The existing TOMRA reverse vending machines were successfully integrated into the platform.

The EDEKA Lüning supermarket in Burg Nordpassage, a modern food market belonging to the long-established Lüning Group, has been using the digital communication solution ReAct Now since November 2024. This platform optimises internal workflows and improves customer service - a significant step towards greater efficiency and transparency.

A central element of the project was the integration of the existing TOMRA reverse vending machines into the ReAct platform. This connection enables direct and discreet communication with store employees. As soon as a vending machine approaches a fill level at which it can no longer accept any more empties, the responsible team is informed in real time. This allows the vending machines to be emptied in good time before service is interrupted. The result: a smooth process and an improved shopping experience for customers.

In addition to the TOMRA integration, ReAct Now enables a role- and competence-based distribution of tasks. This ensures clear responsibilities and shorter response times, which further increases the efficiency of store processes. The platform also provides valuable data that can be used to optimise processes.
